From
the time of ancient Egypt, deathmasks have been used to immortalize the
powerful, the rich and the famous. Egyptian pharaohs, European kings, and
religious leaders have all been preserved in this manner.
S.W.A.T.
artists Catherine Freeman and Birney Hand have updated this ancient artform,
applying modern materials and technologies, and are producing unusual and
elegant sculptures based on these techniques. Visit our site again soon
and see some of their work. Custom lifecastings of you or your loved ones
are also available...e-mail us at swat@usit.net
